Bible prophecies have specific event time markers which take place in the future. The entire book of Revelation is full with these future events with their time markers. Why?  "To reveal his slaves the things that will take place" Rev 1:1.  All the prophecies interconnect with the period of the "Lords Day"  Rev 1:10. They set out events in signs that mark the start of Christ's second period of activity, his 'second association presence'. There is one particular prophesied event which sets out the commencement of this second activity in chapter 13. This article examines the details of this meticulously timed prophecy which after a wait of some 2,000 years is about to be fulfilled.

Following a war in heaven  (see Jesus battle previews war in heaven). 

Rev 12:7-9 "And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled  but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them any longer in heaven.  So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him".

Rev 12:12 "On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time” .

Rev 12:13 "When the dragon saw that it had been hurled down to the earth, it persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child" .

Rev 12:17 "The dragon became enraged at the woman and went off to wage war with the remaining ones of her offspring, who observe the commandments of God and have the work of bearing witness concerning Jesus" .

Offspring of the woman = last group of the 144,000 on earth, (see a late second harvest).

REVELATION  CHAPTER 13

Rev 13:1-2 "And it (the dragon) stood still on the sand of the sea. And I saw a wild beast ascending out of the sea, (mankind) with ten horns and seven heads, and on its horns ten diadems, but on its heads blasphemous names. Now the wild beast that I saw was like a leopard, but its feet were like those of a bear, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. And the dragon gave to the beast its power and its throne and great authority"   (see Daniel chapter 7, leopard, bear. lion, beasts representing national powers).

Wild Beast  =  Mankind's ruling national world powers throughout history.

Rev 13:3  "I saw that one of its heads seemed to have been fatally wounded, but its mortal wound had been healed, and all the earth followed the wild beast with admiration".

Head Fatally Wounded = Marks time Russian world power in 1992 lost its world power position by reformation.

Head Healed = Time Russian  power is reinstated as re-healed, its world power restored.

Rev 13:4-5  "They worshipped the dragon because it gave the authority to the wild beast, and they worshipped the wild beast with the words: “Who is like the wild beast, and who can do battle with it?” It was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and it was given authority to act for 42 months".

Wild Beast = For three and a half years from 2029 to 2033 is allowed to act against God.

Rev13:6-8  "It opened its mouth in blasphemies against God to blaspheme his name and his dwelling place, even those residing in heaven.  It was permitted to wage war with the holy ones and conquer them, and it was given authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. And all those who dwell on the earth will worship it. From the founding of the world, not one of their names has been written in the scroll of life of the Lamb who was slaughtered".

From 2029 the Wild Beast wages war on the final members of the 144,000 recruits on earth.

Rev13:9-10  "If anyone has an ear, let him hear. If anyone is meant for captivity, he will go into captivity. If anyone will kill with the sword, he must be killed with the sword. This is where it calls for endurance and faith on the part of the holy ones". 

Comparison of Rev 13:9-10 using the more accurate Westcott and Hort, translation.

"It was permitted to wage war with the holy ones and capture  them,  If anyone has an ear, let him hear.  If anyone is speared or run through on a spear or if one goes under a knife or killed off in any way whatever it is required by necessity. This will call for faith and endurance on the part of the holy ones"  Rev 13:9-10.  Westcott and Hort comparison.

BEAST LIKE A LAMB

Rev 13:11  "Then I saw another wild beast ascending out of the earth, and it had two horns like a lamb, but it began speaking like a dragon".

Lamb Beast = American leading world power.

Two Horns = Double military power,  most powerful world power.

Lamb like = Democratic seemingly gentler world power.

Rev13:12  "It exercises all the authority of the first wild beast in its sight. And it makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first wild beast, whose mortal wound was healed".

Mortal wound healed =  When the Russian power is re-established on the world stage fixes the time.

Rev13:13  "And it (lamb Beast) performs great signs, even making fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the sight of mankind.

United States =  The only nuclear world power to drop nuclear bombs from the sky, (making fire come down from heaven).

Rev13:14 "It (Lamb Beast) misleads those who dwell on the earth, because of the signs that it was permitted to perform in the sight of the wild beast, while it tells those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the wild beast that had the sword-stroke and yet revived".

United States = Performs great signs in science and technology before the entire worlds nations.

Time Set = When this head of the Wild Beast has been reinstalled to its former world predominance. 

USA (Lamb Beast) directs worlds nations to make a representing organisation (an Image) of the worlds nations (Wild Beast)  =  After the Russian world power is reinstated,  under USA control and direction of world nations it creates  NATO or a new remodelled version of associate member nations emerging on the world scene as the Image.

Rev13:15 "And it was permitted to give breath to the image of the wild beast, so that the image (new NATO)  of the wild beast should both speak and cause to be killed all those who refuse to worship the image of the wild beast".

USA Lamb Beast gives breath to image = After Russian world power reinstated, the USA enlivens and controls new  reformed NATO (the Image).

Image forces obedience to Wild Beast =  The new reformed NATO enforces obedience by military force to support USA and West.

Rev13:16-18 "It puts under compulsion all people the small and the great, the rich and the poor, the free and the slaves that these should be marked on their right hand or on their forehead, and that nobody can buy or sell except a person having the mark, the name of the wild beast or the number of its name. This is where it calls for wisdom: Let the one who has insight calculate the number of the wild beast, for it is a man’s number, and its number is 666.


Lamb Beast the USA with its recreated NATO Image =  Controls world trade allowing only those it marks (666) as approved to trade and and on those it does not it places world trade sanctions.
 
The prophesied events in chapter 13 identify the head, the Russian power, being restored to full world power prior to the start of the second presence period of activity, scheduled for 2029. By then the head (Russia) should have fully recovered on the world stage with the support of the USA Lamb Beast. All who have insight and seek to support the Kingdom construction will be intently looking at world events from now on to verify the start of this period of the second active attendance of Jesus Christ, harnessing the help of the Revelation signs of chapter 13.
