A voice from a wilderness position, correcting wrong Bible understandings, removing false religious traditions, smoothing the way.
God's Kingdom plan is logical, pragmatic and perfect
1.
If you belong to one of the Christian religions of this world, you may consider you have undergone the baptism of Jesus. You may not have! Reading on, you will be able to find out why. It will require consideration of what God's word says on the subject. Or is it impossible for anyone to learn what he thinks he already knows?
JESUS BAPTISM, DIFFERENT TO JOHN'S
2.
John was appointed by God to prepare individuals for developments relating to the Kingdom of heaven " John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying: “Repent, for the Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.” Mat 3:1-2. John's immersion was used by some Jews to mark a person's public expression of a remorseful attitude. A demonstration of their repentance (regret) over their personal misdemeanours committed against the Mosaic law covenant, to prepare for the one coming after John. He told them "I, for my part, baptize you with water because of your repentance, but the one coming after me is stronger than I am, That one will baptize you with holy spirit and with fire", Mat 3:11.
3.
John's baptism was an outward expression of a remorseful repentant attitude, it did not bring them forgiveness of their sins. It did prepare them for the one following who could actually remove their sin once and for all. John saw Jesus coming toward him, and he said: "See, the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world! John 1:29 why I came baptising in water was that he might be revealed to Israel." John 1:31 the one who sent me to baptise in water said to me, 'Whoever it is you see the spirit coming down upon and remaining, this is the one that will baptise in holy spirit", John 1:33. Baptism was a new concept, up until then Jews relied on the system of offering various animal blood sacrifices at the temple in Jerusalem on its sacrificial altar in its courtyard.
4.
John passed some of his followers to this Lamb of God for preparation for Kingdom activity. After Jesus death his unique baptism became valid and operative, replacing John's preparation baptism, making it obsolete. Jesus' baptism could permanently remove sin from selected persons, see JOHN THE BAPTIST'S MINISTRY.
JESUS BAPTISM
5.
The baptism of Jesus was made "under the authority of (in the name) the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit" "Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And I will definitely be with you, to the very end of the (Jewish) age.” Matthew 28:18-20.
6.
Initiated by an individual's water immersion involved much more than John's. The water immersion (baptism) of Jesus, was in effect a signing into the Kingdom contract. It could only be done after having fully examined and agreed to the terms of the contract, understanding its objectives and how it affected them personally. That the 'lamb of God' the worlds passover sacrifice, would save first born ones (as patterned in Egypt). Represented by the bread and wine ceremony, symbolising the personal consuming of Christ's shed blood and sacrificed body. The power acquired by this sacrifice was sufficient for Jesus to purchase a rebirth for 144,000, first reborn human Sons of God, owned by Him.
see JOHN BAPTIST AND JESUS SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP.
7.
Once these acquired full knowledge they could make a serious personal decision over committing to a life dedication agreement, to undergo a similar sacrificial death as Jesus, "Seeing we died with reference to sin, all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? So we were buried with him through our baptism into his death, just as Christ was raised up from the dead, so we also should walk in a new life. united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be united with him in the likeness of his resurrection. our old personality was nailed to the stake along with him in order for our sinful body is made powerless, the one who has died has been acquitted from his sin", Rom 6;2-7.
8.
By agreeing to commit to Jesus baptism, they agree to undergo the same baptism of death as Jesus had undergone "Jesus said to them: “Can you drink the cup that I am drinking or be baptized with the baptism with which I am being baptized?” They said to him: “We can.” At that Jesus said to them: “The cup I am drinking, you will drink, and with the baptism with which I am being baptized, you will be baptized", Mark 10:38-39. Paul said- "What will they do who are being baptized for the purpose of becoming dead ones, if the dead are not to be raised up at all? Why then are they being baptized for the purpose of dying?", Cor 15:29.
9.
All of these selected ones agree to sacrificially die a death similar to Jesus death, under the authority of his name. When agreeing the terms of this Kingdom contract with Jesus, they symbolise their pledge by an act of water baptism 'in Jesus name' agreeing to undertake this extremely serious commitment of undergoing a sacrificial death. After signing into this contract, provided they are accepted by Yhwh and Jesus, they receive a further baptism in holy spirit. Being immersed in the activating power of this spirit force.
10.
It was this spirit power that removed their inherited Adamic sin and personal acquired sins, by masking it out, enabling them to be imputed up to God's acceptable standard for adoption as a Son of God, "Get baptized, and wash your sins away by your calling on his name." Acts 22:16. These ones are restricted in number to a total of 144,000 all immersed (baptised) into one conglomerate group (or body) "For by one spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink one spirit", 1 Cor 12:13. Peter said to them: “Repent, and let each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the free gift of the holy spirit. For the promise is to you and your children, and to all those who are far away, to all those whom Yhwh our God may call to himself.”Acts 2:38-39.
11.
Following their voluntary baptism under the authorisation of God and Jesus, their Adamic and personal sin is acquitted. Cancelled by the spirit power credited to Jesus, this spirit-force immerses them, acting as a cloaking devise, masking out their sin. Jesus ransom bought a mechanism not only to cancel the Adamic inherited sin but also the personal sin of 144,000. Each of these could personally sin, caused by their substandard weaknesses and deficits, weak on moral strength likely to make stupid mistakes. After being reborn these ones are still subject to this weakness, dealt with by an ongoing forgiveness or cancelling of these sins as committed, based on the credit purchased by Christ's death. By means of this ongoing forgiveness their mistakes (sins) are as if masked from God "blotted out" and so He is able to recognise them as if sin cleansed. To help them make up for their deficit the helping Holy spirit was provided.
Jesus announced "When the helper arrives that I will send to you from the Father, the spirit of the truth, which proceeds from the Father, that one will bear witness about me"; John 15:26.
Jesus explained all personal sins are forgivable, except wilful sin and opposition (the same sin as Adam) "Truly I say to you, all things will be forgiven the sons of men, no matter what sins and blasphemies they blasphemously commit. But should any who have holy spirit blaspheme against it, has no forgiveness forever, but is guilty of everlasting sin.” Mark 3:28-29 (W&H Greek to English).
Paul said "For if we adopted Sons practice sin wilfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left, but there is a certain fearful expectation of judgement .. how much more severe a punishment, ... the man .. who has esteemed as of ordinary value the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and who has outraged the spirit of undeserved kindness with contempt"? Heb 10:26-29.
This forgiveness concession is only available to these 144,000 because they need to sacrifice their sin cleansed deemed lives in death. Once acquired each could then provide their individual sin cleansed sacrificial deaths, similar to Jesus. would enable the next important development of this Kingdom plan.
12.
This unique baptism was discontinued after the Apostles died. It is programmed to be re-activated again, two thousand years later, in April 2029. see THE TEMPLE OF GOD section KINGDOM CONSTRUCTION SUSPENDED FOR 1,960 YEARS.

THE BAPTISM OF JESUS BY WATER AND SPIRIT, INTO HIS DEATH
Who are invited to be baptised into his death?
Jesus baptism is exclusively for ones selected by God, who sign the Kingdom contract with Jesus (the saints). "He took a loaf, gave thanks, broke it, and gave it to them, saying: “This means my body, which is to be given in your behalf... Also, he did the same with the cup .. saying: “This cup means the new covenant by virtue of my blood, which is to be poured out in your behalf. .. “You are the ones who have stuck with me in my trials; and I make a new covenant with you, just as my Father has made a covenant with me, for a kingdom, so that you may eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom, and sit on thrones" Luke 22:19-20, 28-30.
14.
These ones who sign the Kingdom contract are purchased for God, receiving the credited power of Christ's from his sacrificed blood and body being directly applied to them. One hundred and forty-four thousand are able to individually sign into this contract with the promised reward of obtaining thrones as kings in this royal Kingdom rulership.
15.
"Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb (Jesus), standing on (heavenly) Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads (God's and Jesus possession)...And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. ... They were purchased from among mankind and offered as first-fruits to God and the Lamb" Rev 14:1,3-4.
16.
"I saw the lives of those executed for the witness they gave about Jesus and for speaking about God,... they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for 1,000 years. ... This is the first resurrection. Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and they will rule as kings with him for the 1,000 years" Rev 20:4,6.
JOHN BAPTISES JESUS
17.
Examining Jesus personal baptism by John and why he needed to get baptised, as presumably he had no sins to repent of. The date of Jesus baptism by John was specifically set by God. It was a unique dedication of himself from that time on to exclusively carry out the assignments God had scripted for him. He submerged drowning his own will and re-emerged to carry out God's will. It was at this time he received spirit power that he would need to carry out his miracle punctuated assignment. Yhwh stamped His verbal approval on this baptism arrangement.
18.
"After being baptised, Jesus immediately came up from the water; and look! the heavens were opened, and he (John) saw God’s spirit descending like a dove upon him. Look! Also, a voice from the heavens said: “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.” Mat 3:16-17.
19.
Jesus three and a half year assignment was to end in his death, preprogrammed by God. Starting with his dedication baptism by John in October 29, and ended with his death and resurrection in April 33.
20.
"When he (Jesus) comes into the world, (and was baptised by John) he says: “‘Sacrifice and offering you did not want (old Jewish animal sacrifices and offerings), but you prepared a body for me. Look! I have come to do your will.” By this “will” we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all time" Hebrews 10:5-10.
EVERYTHING JESUS SAID AND DID WAS SCRIPTED BY HIS FATHER
21.
"For I have not spoken of my own initiative, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment about what to say and what to speak. And I know that his commandment means everlasting life. So whatever I speak, I speak just as the Father has told me.” John 12:49-50. "Jesus, said: “What I teach is not mine, but belongs to him who sent me. If anyone desires to do His will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or I speak of my own originality" John 7:16-17. "The things I say I do not speak of my own originality, but the Father who in union (agreement) with me is doing his works" John 14:10.
22.
Jesus assignment started with an immersion (baptism) when he dedicated himself to exclusively carry out the assignment God had scripted for him. The assignment entailed teaching persons selected by God on the Kingdom construction plan. Following this three and a half year teaching program at God's set time he was plunged into death, with God's promise to raise him back to life out of death after three and a half days. This entire three and a half year assignment starting with his baptism was all focused toward his final baptism into death. Successfully accomplishing it, brought him honours and rewards, the position of King of kings and High priest. Enabling him to receive the credited spirit powered benefits he would bestow on those entering into the Kingdom covenant agreement.
BAPTISED WITH HOLY SPIRIT?
23.
Following the water repentance baptism of John, the Apostles underwent a three year Kingdom teaching program from Jesus although they were not always able to understand everything until after Jesus death, when the spirit became operative on their minds. "Jesus said to them: ... Can you drink the cup that I am drinking or be baptized with the baptism with which I am being baptized?” They said to him: “We can.” At that Jesus said to them: “The cup I am drinking, you will drink, and with the baptism with which I am being baptized, you will be baptized" Mark 10:38-39 .
24.
Some of those water baptised by John who accepted and put faith in what Jesus said were offered a contract with him to become part of the coming Kingdom arrangement. But they would need to agree to undergo the same type of death Jesus had, being submersed into it, "baptised into his death", descending into it. Before undergoing this death they received a rebirth. "Jesus said to him: “Most truly I say to you, unless anyone is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” ... Jesus answered: “Most truly I say to you, unless anyone is born from water and spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God" John 3:3,5 . "All of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? So we were buried with him through our baptism into his death,.. If we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will certainly also be united with him in the likeness of his resurrection. ... For the one who has died has been acquitted from his sin. Romans 6:3-7.
25.
The "baptism into his death" is an immersion into a similar death as his. Jesus death enabled him to receive the power to cancel out inherited and personal sin of these 144,000. They died to their former inherited Adamic and personal sinful lives, emerging guilt free of sin by a rebirth. They could then be adopted as a full Sons of God, joining His family and fellow brothers of Jesus. This raised them to a new elevated position as newly created beings never before seen. It enabled them all to collectively carry out the sacrificing of their own sin cleansed lives by a similar death as Jesus. "Baptised into his death" first immersed in the spirit power to cancel out their inherited and personal sin enabling them to voluntarily die sin cleansed sacrificial deaths as Jesus had.
"He .. transferred us into the Kingdom of his beloved Son, by means of whom we have our release by ransom, the forgiveness of our sins" Colossians 1:13-14. "By means of him (Jesus) we have the release by ransom through the blood of that one, which means that our sins are now forgiven, according to the riches of his undeserved kindness" Ephesians 1:7. "Therefore, if anyone is in union with Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away; look! new things have come into existence" 2 Corinthians 5:17
FOUR ASPECTS OF JESUS BAPTISM
26.
1. WATER
Once a person is in an informed position, they can decide to make a personal dedication of their life to carry out the contractual terms of the Kingdom contract. Their free choice outwardly symbolised by an immersion in water (baptism)
